For warranty issues

Every service we complete comes with a full warranty.

If any issue arises due to our work, such as a faulty smoke alarm, incomplete installation, or equipment failure, we’ll return to the property at no additional cost to resolve it.

For all other repair issues

Annual Subscription Properties

These include unlimited free call-outs - if we are unable to conduct a repair onsite (from our set list of basic electrical and smoke repairs) we will provide a quote for the repair.

Non-Subscription Properties

We will first provide a quote for the call-out before attending. Once again, if we are then unable to conduct a repair onsite we will provide a quote for the repair.

Renters call our 24/7 Support Line to report an urgent issue. Our trained operators assess the situation and try to resolve it immediately over the phone through safe troubleshooting and guidance.

STEP 2

Triage & Verification

If the issue can’t be fixed remotely, we log and classify the repair by urgency and type - following your agency’s pre-approved categories and parameters.

STEP 3

Trade Coordination

We’ll first reach out to your preferred trades. If they’re unavailable, CheckHero dispatches from our verified network of licensed professionals. All trades are contacted on behalf of your agency for a seamless experience.

STEP 4

Authorisation & Dispatch

If the repair is within your pre-authorised limit, CheckHero sends the technician straight away. For unquotable issues, we’ll only proceed once authorised - ensuring full cost control for your agency.

STEP 5

Completion & Reporting

Once the job’s done, we provide a comprehensive digital report - including timestamps, cause, trade details, and responsibility (renters vs. rental provider).
