For optimal smoke detection, smoke alarms should be installed in every bedroom, living room, and hallway of the house. This is very important if the resident is sleeping with the door closed or where the child is sleeping. Smoke alarms cannot detect smoke from closed doors. Studies show that children are more likely to wake up with an alarm in their bedroom. At the very least, it is advisable to install a smoke detector in the hallway closest to the bedroom. You need to make up for it with another alarm as soon as possible.
No. We hold all responsibility with liaising with the tenants and you are not required to pay any call out fees etc.
If you are a private landlord (rather than booking through a real estate agent), you are required to prepay for our service. However, if you organise our service through your real estate agent, the charge can be deducted from your next rental and therefore not required to prepay.
Yes. Our special bundle pricing is only offered if you book the three mandatory checks: gas, electrical and smoke alarms. You can book individual jobs, but the cost per each job will be higher.
No. Our comprehensive deal pricing is fixed and no matter what the circumstance there are no add-on costs or fees for the testing/certificates.
If there is an urgent/unsafe emergency repair required, we will call your agent or yourself for authorisation.
