To our knowledge, we are the only provider which does not lean heavily on apprentice plumbers and electricians. In fact, we don’t use them at all - all our trades are fully licensed or registered.
All reports include photos, including of any required repairs, detailed notes and a sign-off from the tradesperson. Our tracks are also GPS-tracked to ensure the integrity of the check.

No. All work is carried out by fully qualified, licensed, and accredited professionals. This ensures all inspections meet regulatory standards and allows us to provide prompt, often same-day, certification.
No. We liaise directly with tenants to arrange access and complete all required checks in a single visit where possible. Keys are only required for vacant properties, and access arrangements will be coordinated in advance.
Our pricing is fully transparent, with no hidden or additional fees such as setup, call-out, or cancellation charges. If any repairs are identified during the inspection, we will provide recommendations and only proceed with your approval.
Yes. The bundled pricing applies only when booking all three required checks, gas, electrical, and smoke alarms, as part of a combined service. Individual services are available, however they are charged at standard standalone rates.
Property managers receive discounted pricing on all CheckHero services. It’s best to contact us for a bespoke quote. In cases where an owner manages four or more properties within the same building, and we are able to complete all the checks on the same day (for example, with key access), we are able to extend a discount to the owner.
No. There are no penalties or ongoing obligations if access is unavailable. We will coordinate directly with the tenants to reschedule the inspection at a mutually convenient time, ensuring minimal disruption to all parties.
